Police say they recovered a stolen vehicle and 130 grams of meth after investigating a single vehicle collision over the weekend in Branford. Officers arrested two men, both being held for a bail hearing. Police in Waterloo region continue to investigate a commercial break-in in Cambridge. Police say diesel catalysts were stolen from parked trucks in the area. Waterloo police also investigating 3 residential break-ins in Wilmot Township between May 5th and 19th. Investigators say the suspects entered through the back door. The province passed legislation allowing councillors to be removed from office for serious code of conduct violations, including harassment. However, councillors can only be removed if it's recommended by municipal and provincial integrity commissioners, and it's approved unanimously by the rest of the council. And Ontario's public servants might be allowed to work from home during daytime FIFA World Cup matches in Toronto, although they'll have to take it up with the manager, and it doesn't look promising. Calls from the union for more flexible work options during the tournament siting, increased traffic, ongoing construction, and disrupted sidewalk access. The union said 5,500 members have already made requests. Only 365 received a response. Nine of them were approved to work from home. Light 92 sports baseball yesterday, Blue Jays beat Miami 8-1.
