It's Remembrance Day today,
All banks and federal government offices  closed, Canada Post won’t be delivering or collecting mail.
LCBO and Beer Store locations will be closed this morning, opening this afternoon.
Many Rembrance Day ceremonies will take place this morning, just before 11 to honour our veterans.
Including at the Brantford War Memorial, in Kitchener at Veteran’s Green Park, at the Burlington Cenotaph in Veteran Square and at Gore Park in Hamilton
Yesterday's snowfall in the GTHA brought the largest amount of early-season accumulation in more than five decades.
According to Environment Canada, 9.8cms of snow was reported at Pearson, beating the previous November 9th record from 1969 when  7.1 centimetres of snow fell.
OPP reported hundreds of collisions on GTHA roads.
Police in Brantford have made an arrest, after 2 men were stabbed early Saturday morning.
Police responded to an altercation in front of a downtown bar where two men were attacked, both now recovering from injuries.
A 27-year-old Ohsweken man is facing attempted murder charges.
An Ontario judge has dismissed Magna billionaire Frank Stronach’s bid to eliminate a charge he’s facing in his sexual assault case.
The 93 year old will stand trial on 12 charges from alleged incidents dating back decades.
The judge-alone trial is expected in February.
Stronach also faces a separate trial in Newmarket.
