Toys R Us Canada is facing another lawsuit from a landlord that says it terminated the retailer's lease after it failed to pay rent. Rio Can Holdings says in a new court filing that the toy store chain did not pay rent last month for a space it occupied at the Lawrence Allen Centre in Toronto. After allegedly warning Toys R Us Canada that it would end its leases if it did not make a payment, Rio Can says it followed through with its threat on January 20. The claims have not been tested in court, and when asked about the lawsuit? Spokesperson for the company said it did not have information to share. Magna founder Frank Stronach has pleaded not guilty as his first sexual assault trial gets set to start in Toronto. The 93-year-old billionaire faces 12 charges involving several women, with some allegations dating back as far as the late 70s. His lawyer says they'll ask for a short delay to deal with pre-trial motions. Stronach was arrested in 2024, and a second trial is scheduled later this year in Newmarket. Hamilton popped up on Jeopardy again, this time in a clue about McMaster University. Contestants were asked which province is home to the school that keeps part of Albert Einstein's brain in a research lab. The $800 answer was Ontario. It's not the city's first cameo on the show.
