Stefan Joseph Konashevich is being suspended for six months. after a review of his medical misconduct, which includes a patient dying after a nerve blocking procedure, despite an explicit order to stop performing the injections that he kept doing anyway. The doctor, with clinics in Hamilton, Toronto, and Newmarket, was previously facing professional incompetence allegations in 2022. So are doctors actually getting away with incompetence? according to the CPSO's own documents, they rarely get punished. Out of every complaint received, 0.06% of doctors are actually convicted. Police in the GTA have arrested a half a dozen suspects in a counterfeit currency sales ring operating through social media.
