Severe thunderstorm watch still in effect for areas near Brantford. Environment Canada also issued a special weather statement for Waterloo Region. We've got water on the roads this morning. Ford government moving to scale back school board trustees. The new bill tabled at Queen's Park would cut the number of trustees, limit their spending and reduce their role in bargaining. They say it's to boost accountability and stabilize governance. Public Health Agency of Canada investigating a salmonella outbreak linked to pistachios still active a year after the first infection.
