Charges lay during a week-long Canada Day traffic blitz by OPP showed Norfolk County led Haldeman and Brant with violations. Norfolk had more speeding tickets, impaired charges, and seatbelt violations. A total of 1,828 speeding tickets were issued in 13 counties during the campaign, along with 102 impaired driving charges, 304 seatbelt tickets handed out. An update from the U.S. military said it's hit some 90 targets across Iran this morning after the U.S. declared the ceasefire was over. Although neither side really ceased firing during the so-called ceasefire. Black and white footage released by officials showed some of the strikes seemed to have targeted an airport runway and missile launchers. And with the way they've been dragging their feet, you'd think no live animals were involved. Marineland said it welcomes authorization from the United States for, quote, an emergency rescue operation involving the remaining whales and dolphins. The former Niagara Falls tourist attraction said care teams will arrive in the next few weeks to assess the whales for travel. Ottawa endorsed a plan last month to move the animals to several locations.
