Well, it's not quite winter, but it certainly feels like we're in the thick of things. Now there are snow squall watches and warnings north of the GTA. We're mostly just expecting really cold temperatures. Although compared to the Maritimes, it might feel a bit balmy. Icy cold weather sweeping into parts of Atlantic Canada after yesterday's nor'easter. In New Brunswick, wind chills today and tomorrow could feel as cold as minus 33. Four people charged with attempted murder in what police say was a targeted shooting in Burlington. Halton police say a car was shot at in a parking lot behind a grocery store October 29. The victim suffered facial injuries. Four residents from Burlington between the ages of 16 and 20 were arrested. Police from Halton in Toronto announced a major bust of stolen alcohol in the GTHA worth more than $1.3 million. Police said the operation involved several people linked to 10 separate organized theft groups, 56-year-old woman, 52-year-old man, 25-year-old, all from Toronto arrested two weeks ago. And things are getting rowdy within the Conservative Party of BC. An attempted coup against John Rusty Rustad's leadership descended into chaos yesterday, with the party's MLAs unable to agree on who's in charge. The party announced that Rustad was removed as leader of the opposition because he was, quote unquote, professionally incapacitated. They said 20 MLAs representing a caucus voted to install another man as interim leader. But Rustad says, uh-uh, and took his usual seat in the legislature, posting to social media that, yeah, he's not going anywhere. Sports NHL last night. Montreal beat Winnipeg 3-2 in a shootout. Leafs will be in Carolina tonight at 7. In the OHL, Kitchener Rangers beat London 4-3. It was Guelph over Brampton 5-2. The Branford Bulldogs beat Kingston 4-2. In the PWHL tonight, Toronto hosts Ottawa at 7. In the NBA, the Raptors host the Lakers at 7.30. And in the NFL tonight, Dallas is in Detroit 8-15. Weather, a mix of sun and cloud with a few flurries today, windy and cold, minus 4 will feel minus 17 this afternoon. Tonight, cloudy, windy, a wind chill once again, feeling minus 17. Sunshine returns tomorrow, minus 2, feeling minus 8. Right now, it's minus 3 in Brantford, minus 2 in Hamilton, minus 5 in Kitchener. I'm Stacey Englehart.
