While Brantford isn’t expected too much snow, areas north of the GTA are seeing another dumping.
A snowsquall warning from yesterday, was expected to bring upwards of 20 or 30cms in some areas north of the GTA….
We’re only expected to see a few flurries.
The Grey Cup was awarded yesterday,  Among some V-I-Ps attending, Prime Minister Mark Carney.
The winning Roughriders are scheduled to return home today and a victory parade is slated for tomorrow in Regina. Sports on the way.
There will be new faces on the Grand Erie Public Health board in the coming weeks.
According to the Expositor, Member Shelley Ann Bentley,  the mayor of Haldimand, has stepped down from the board, effective immediately.
The move comes after the board said Bentley leaked  a confidential document and was docked 120 days’ pay, although she says, she didn’t do it.
She did not share her reason for stepping down.
It's voting day on the federal budget that Prime Minister Mark Carney's Liberal government delivered earlier this month.
The consequential budget vote serves as a confidence vote.
The Liberals need the support -- from at least a few M-Ps from outside their party in order for the budget to pass. (3)
 Statistics Canada will release its latest reading on inflation this morning.
The annual inflation rate was 2.4 per cent in September, up from 1.9 per cent in August.
The Canadian Real Estate Association says the number of residential properties that changed hands in October was lower compared with a year ago as prices also fell.
There were 42,068 home sales across the country last month, down 4.3 per cent from October 2024.
