According to the expositor, Ron Eddy spent his life serving the community, including 19 years at the helm. The County of Brant issued a release Friday acknowledging his passing and say flags at county facilities have been lowered. Experts say the soaring prices tied to the American-Israeli war in Iran is forcing airlines to adjust operations and pass their costs on to customers. WestJet said they are planning to introduce a $60 surcharge for certain bookings, although they did say it was temporary. the number of safety incidents on Canadian runways is on the rise, having reached new highs in recent years.
