While the heat in southern Ontario is not going to go away for at least a few days, Environment Canada said temperatures feeling close to 40 from Windsor through to Ottawa, including Brantford. People being warned to watch for signs of heat stroke, including nausea and fatigue. all close to 50,000 in southern Ontario still have no power. Tens of thousands across Ontario and Quebec had power knocked out with severe thunderstorms bringing down trees, power lines and flooding homes. Environment Canada has posted scores of heat warnings that now stretch into New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and PEI. A person who may have been cycling west on Powerline Road just over the Branford-Ancaster border was found dead late Tuesday. According to police, they were called to Powerline and Bethel Church Road after the person was found just off the road. Police are appealing to witnesses.
