According to the expositor, Ron Eddy spent his life serving the community, including 19 years at the helm. The county of Brandt issued a release Friday acknowledging his passing and say flags at Brandt facilities have been lowered. Experts say the soaring prices tied to the American-Israeli war in Iran is forcing airlines to adjust operations and pass pass their costs on to customers. WestJet said they are planning to introduce a $60 surcharge for certain bookings, although they did say it was temporary.
