According to the expositor, Ron Eddy spent his life serving the community, including 19 years at the helm. The county of Brandt issued a release Friday acknowledging his passing and say flags at Brandt facilities have been lowered. While we're already seeing super high gas prices, expect your vacation to cost a lot more. Experts say the soaring prices tied to the American-Israeli war in Iran is forcing airlines to adjust operations and pass pass their costs on to customers. WestJet said they are planning to introduce a $60 surcharge for certain bookings, although they did say it was temporary. The number of safety incidents on Canadian runways is on the rise, having reached new highs in recent years. According to the data from the Transportation Safety Board of Canada, runway incursions, when a plane or vehicle is on a runway when they shouldn't be, hit a record 639 in 2024.
