It’s National Maple Syrup Day, and we all know there’s no better way to celebrate than with Canada’s favourite sweet treat: maple syrup! But if you’re feeling adventurous this holiday season why not try Buddy the Elf's spaghetti?

Inspired by the classic holiday movie Elf, you can recreate Buddy’s legendary breakfast spaghetti. It’s sugar, syrup, and candy all in one dish.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Cook and drain your spaghetti.

  2. Toss it with maple syrup.

  3. Plate the spaghetti and drizzle with chocolate syrup.

  4. Add Pop-Tart pieces...but stir it in.

  5. Sprinkle on miniature marshmallows and M&Ms.

  6. Finish with sprinkles, a squeeze of whipped cream, and a candy cane for flair.

It’s messy, it’s sweet, and will most likely give you a tummy ache, but isn’t that what the holidays are all about?
